Cookie Dough Snowballs


  • 2 Cups All Purpose Gluten-Free Flour (I used King Arthur)
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar (plus more for coating)
  • 1 Cup + 1 Tablespoon Vegan Butter (Earth Balance)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/2 Cup Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips


Mix together the butter, sugar, vanilla and cardamom with your hands-- the warmth from your hands will soften the Earth Balance!

Then add in the flour and mix until fully incorporated.

Next fold in the chocolate chips.

Roll small balls with your hands and set each one on a piece of parchment paper.

When all of the dough is rolled, place 5 at a time into a ziplock baggie half-full with powdered sugar and shake around until each ball is coated.

Then refrigerate all the snowballs at least 3 hours to firm up!
