- 6 Slices Sourdough Bread (or any artisanal rustic bread)
- 1 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1/2 TBS Chia Seeds
- 1 TBS Flaxmeal
- 1 TBS Vanilla
- 3 TBS Maple Syrup (plus more for topping)
- Generous shake of Cinnamon
- Vegan Butter or coconut oil for frying
Slice your bread and set aside.
Mix next 6 ingredients together and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This activates the chia seeds and flaxmeal making the batter slightly more gelatinous like an eggy batter.
Soak each slice for 30 seconds on both sides and fry up in a skillet greased with your vegan butter. Let each side get crispy and drizzle with Maple Syrup!
