Cocao Strawberry Thickshake


Love is in the air! It’s spring time and all I want is to eat chocolate and swoon all day. With my Cocao Strawberry Thickshake, you can do just that totally guilt free! I use all plant-based ingredients with no added sugar. Cocao (my favorite go-to chocolate substitute) is a superfood that’s rich in Magnesium, Vitamin B, Antioxidants and Protein. Throw some juicy strawberries on top of that and you’ve got a thickshake that’s simply irresistible!

Cocao Strawberry Thickshake

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 2 small portions or one big treat!

Cocao Strawberry Thickshake

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas (frozen)
  • 2 Dates
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Raw Cocao Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon unsweetened Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon plant-based Protein Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • 4-6 cubes of Ice
  • Strawberries and Cocao Nibs for topping

Instructions

Roughly chop the bananas and dates and add to the blender with all of the other ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Slice a few strawberries, some to mix into the thickshake while pouring into a glass, some for the topping.

There's really no wrong way to present this decadent treat! As long as you got the strawberries and cacao nibs on there, you're golden :)
