Maple-Cider Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 4-5 Organic Carrots (cut in halves or smaller)
- Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
- Cayenne
Instructions
After your carrots are rinsed and cut, place in a skillet coated in olive oil on medium heat.
Keep on medium heat and add the apple cider vinegar and maple syrup. Cover, then you can literally walk away for about 10 minutes. Come back and flip the carrots-- there will be dark marks along the bottom-- the carrots aren't burned, they are getting tastier!
Wait another 10 minutes with the cover on, remove from heat and dash Cayenne pepper along the tops to your desired spiciness.
I served with fresh rosemary :)
